Nubank was born to end the complexity of the financial system and give people back control over their money. And just as important as making this revolution in the market is how it will be done. To reinforce our commitment to generating a positive and significant impact, Nubank has just become a member of the Global Compact Network Brazil<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

The United Nations\u2019 (UN) initiative was launched in 2000 with the goal of mobilizing companies to adopt and promote ten principles in all their business practices. These are universally accepted actions in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. <\/p>\n\n

With more than 1,100 members, the Brazilian network is already the third-largest in the world<\/strong>, according to the Global Compact.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cThe ESG area continues to evolve and, by joining the compact, the exchange of experiences accelerates this process. With this, we will be able to consolidate and accelerate sustainability parameters to ensure benefits for our customers, employees, and society\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  7. Businesses should support<\/strong> a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Undertake initiatives<\/strong> to promote greater environmental responsibility; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Encourage the development<\/strong> and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
