A palestra abordou temas como modelagem preditiva, causalidade, otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o e monitoramento de sistemas de machine learning em produ\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No Nubank, decis\u00f5es de cr\u00e9dito envolvem muito mais do que uma an\u00e1lise isolada. Em linhas gerais, esses processos combinam diferentes sinais, modelos e mecanismos de monitoramento para apoiar escolhas que buscam equilibrar experi\u00eancia do cliente, gest\u00e3o de risco e sustentabilidade da opera\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esse tipo de desafio vai al\u00e9m de prever comportamento. Tamb\u00e9m exige entender quais decis\u00f5es tendem a gerar valor de forma consistente para clientes e para o neg\u00f3cio, sempre com responsabilidade e vis\u00e3o de longo prazo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>O desafio por tr\u00e1s de um aumento de limite<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conceder mais limite \u00e9 uma decis\u00e3o que envolve m\u00faltiplos fatores. De um lado, est\u00e1 a necessidade de oferecer uma experi\u00eancia que fa\u00e7a sentido para o cliente e acompanhe sua jornada financeira. Do outro, est\u00e1 a import\u00e2ncia de manter uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o saud\u00e1vel, com aten\u00e7\u00e3o a risco, efici\u00eancia e contexto regulat\u00f3rio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na pr\u00e1tica, isso significa construir sistemas capazes de analisar diferentes dimens\u00f5es de uma mesma decis\u00e3o e apoiar escolhas mais personalizadas em escala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>O papel dos modelos preditivos<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uma parte importante desse processo est\u00e1 no uso de modelos preditivos, que ajudam a estimar tend\u00eancias de comportamento a partir de sinais observados ao longo do tempo. Esses modelos s\u00e3o alimentados por dados tratados e organizados para representar padr\u00f5es relevantes, em um trabalho que combina conhecimento t\u00e9cnico e entendimento de neg\u00f3cio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nessa etapa, a qualidade das vari\u00e1veis utilizadas faz muita diferen\u00e7a. Mais do que reunir grande volume de dados, o desafio \u00e9 construir representa\u00e7\u00f5es \u00fateis, est\u00e1veis e interpret\u00e1veis para apoiar decis\u00f5es consistentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tamb\u00e9m por isso, nem sempre a solu\u00e7\u00e3o mais complexa \u00e9 a melhor. Dependendo do problema, abordagens mais simples podem oferecer melhor equil\u00edbrio entre performance, interpretabilidade, custo computacional e escalabilidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mais do que prever: priorizar bem<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Em sistemas de decis\u00e3o, prever \u00e9 apenas parte do trabalho. Em muitos casos, tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 importante priorizar corretamente quais situa\u00e7\u00f5es merecem mais aten\u00e7\u00e3o e quais decis\u00f5es tendem a gerar melhores resultados relativos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isso exige avaliar n\u00e3o apenas a precis\u00e3o das previs\u00f5es, mas tamb\u00e9m a capacidade do sistema de apoiar ordena\u00e7\u00e3o, prioriza\u00e7\u00e3o e consist\u00eancia entre diferentes perfis e contextos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Quando correla\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 suficiente<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outro ponto central \u00e9 distinguir correla\u00e7\u00e3o de causalidade. Em problemas reais, observar uma mudan\u00e7a de comportamento ap\u00f3s uma decis\u00e3o n\u00e3o significa, por si s\u00f3, que uma coisa causou a outra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por isso, t\u00e9cnicas de an\u00e1lise causal ajudam a complementar a modelagem preditiva. Em vez de olhar apenas para o que tende a acontecer, elas ajudam a investigar em que contextos uma determinada a\u00e7\u00e3o realmente faz diferen\u00e7a. Esse tipo de abordagem contribui para decis\u00f5es mais eficientes, mais respons\u00e1veis e mais alinhadas \u00e0 experi\u00eancia do cliente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Modelos em produ\u00e7\u00e3o exigem acompanhamento cont\u00ednuo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Colocar um modelo em produ\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 s\u00f3 o come\u00e7o. Com o tempo, os dados mudam, os comportamentos evoluem e o ambiente econ\u00f4mico se transforma. Para continuar gerando valor, sistemas de machine learning precisam ser acompanhados continuamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isso inclui observar indicadores de desempenho, estabilidade e qualidade operacional, al\u00e9m de revisar modelos periodicamente para garantir que eles continuem adequados ao contexto em que operam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Python no centro desse ecossistema<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ao longo de toda essa jornada, Python ocupa um papel central. A linguagem \u00e9 amplamente utilizada em fluxos de an\u00e1lise, experimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, desenvolvimento de modelos e integra\u00e7\u00e3o com ambientes de produ\u00e7\u00e3o, com apoio de ferramentas amplamente usadas pela ind\u00fastria, como PySpark, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, Airflow, Docker, Databricks e Grafana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais do que uma ferramenta, Python se tornou parte importante da forma como times t\u00e9cnicos constroem, testam e evoluem sistemas de decis\u00e3o em larga escala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Construindo decis\u00f5es mais respons\u00e1veis em escala<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A combina\u00e7\u00e3o entre machine learning, causalidade, otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o e monitoramento mostra como a ci\u00eancia de dados pode contribuir para sistemas de decis\u00e3o mais robustos e sustent\u00e1veis. Em um contexto de milh\u00f5es de clientes, o desafio n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas escalar tecnologia, mas fazer isso com responsabilidade, consist\u00eancia e foco na experi\u00eancia de quem usa os produtos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 medida que \u00e1reas como Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering e Data Engineering continuam evoluindo, esse tipo de abordagem tende
