At Nubank, we’ve always been driven by a single, audacious mission: to fight complexity and empower people. This inspiring purpose has led us from a small startup to a global technology company serving more than 120 million customers globally. Since 2020, our remote-first model has served us well. But as we scale, we believe a strategic evolution is necessary to unlock our full potential. That’s why, starting in July 2026, we will be transitioning to a hybrid work model, requiring most Nubankers to be back to in-person teamwork, starting with 2 days per week, and then 3 days per week in January 2027. An intentional structured hybrid model that balances deep, collaborative work with focused individual time.

This change brings a new dimension to the experience of work at Nu: purposeful flexibility. We offer a model that balances deep, in-person collaboration with days for focused remote work. We are investing heavily to make our offices true centers of innovation and community.
We will expand and improve our headquarter offices in São Paulo, Mexico City, and Bogotá. We will also invest in new office spaces, for specific teams, in Campinas, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Washington D.C. Area, Miami, and Palo Alto – in addition to our existing talent hubs in Montevideo, Berlin and Durham.
It’s worth noting that not all areas of Nubank will be subject to this model: Nubankers in specific areas, due to the nature of their jobs requiring little to no interaction with other teams, will remain in a hybrid work model visiting the offices only one week each quarter, defined by their function. The working model for each open position will be specified at the job posts on our careers page.
