Thierry Silbermann

Thierry did a double Master’s degree in Computer Science at the ESIEA (French Engineering School), in France, and at the Illinois Institute of Technology, in Chicago, USA. After that, he worked at a startup in Paris for six months before starting a Ph.D. at the University of Konstanz, in Germany, in Recommendation System, working on libFM. He now works as a Manager and Tech Lead Data Scientist on different kinds of projects, ranging from improving customer service, understanding growth, improving processes, and managing other data scientists. He is the co-organizer of the Machine Learning Meetup in Sao Paulo, which is the largest in Latin America.
