Ximena, Senior Marketing Manager (Colombia)

into reality: making our customers love us fanatically. Before joining Nubank, Ximena worked at various tech companies in Bogotá. Her journey is marked by her curiosity to understand and meet each customer’s needs uniquely and specially.

Ximena joined Nubank with the goal of transforming access to financial services in Colombia, a country she believes has many opportunities for market improvement.

We want our customers to recognize everything we think for and about them. To achieve this, we need to bring the most suitable solution to each one.

The selection process to join Nubank was intense and intellectually stimulating, and from that moment, she understood the challenges and opportunities she would encounter. Since then, she has actively participated in the accelerated growth of the business.

For her, working at Nubank is an opportunity to align her professional skills with significant social impact. As part of our Marketing team, Ximena led the launch of our credit card in Colombia, considering the entire communication experience until the moment the “little purple” card reached our first customers.

Maitê, Engineering Director (Loans) (Brazil)

Brazilian Maitê Balhester is a Nubanker who embodies our ambitious goal of reinventing the industry and transforming the lives of millions with technology. She currently leads the technology team responsible for building our personal loan solution. According to Maitê, Nubank offers so many differentiators in its products and services because it has people with diverse experiences, whose lives and journeys complement and stimulate creativity and performance.

Michelle, Senior Compliance Manager (Mexico)

The challenges and opportunities from our dynamic work environment inspire Michelle Naranjo to work every day as if it were her first.

Every day is intense, interesting, and different. No day is ever the same as the previous one.

Additionally, Michelle chooses Nubank daily for the company’s transparency. She admires the open way Nubank operates at all levels, creating a sense of ownership among employees.

Michelle is currently in her second stint at Nubank. Before assuming her role as Compliance Leader in Mexico, she navigated the financial and consulting sectors—a journey that brought her back to Nubank. This experience not only enriched her professional repertoire but also strengthened her commitment to the mission of fighting complexity and empowering people to live their lives with more control. Nubank’s culture of innovation, especially in challenging the status quo and putting the customer at the center of all decisions, resonates deeply with her personal values.
