Although we are essentially a digital company, Nubank has always had a physical address. Over the years, our offices have evolved from a modest house to a compact commercial space, and now to an eight-story building located at Rua Capote Valente, 39, in the vibrant heart of Pinheiros, one of São Paulo’s main commercial hubs. In addition to this, Nu also has another building on the same street and another office in São Paulo, Spark, located in Vila Leopoldina.

A lobby that’s open to all

Our building’s lobby isn’t just an entrance; it’s designed to welcome the public. Visitors can access free Wi-Fi, pick up sweet and savory dishes and various drink options at NuCafé, or take a dip in our iconic purple ball pool – a perfect place to relax, work and take memorable photos.

The lobby also hosts two versatile event spaces: the auditorium and the Day One room, frequently used for internal meetings and external community gatherings, such as tech meetups and workshops.

Behind the Day One room, Nubreak awaits—our game room offering ping-pong, foosball, video games, and arcades, making it a vibrant space for socializing and unwinding.

Open and collaborative work areas

Taking the elevators—or stairs if you prefer—you’ll find spacious floors designed for collaborative work, featuring open desks that encourage transparency, creativity, and team interaction.

Our choice of the open-office model isn’t just about trends; it’s a reflection of our values. Nubank exists to challenge conventional banking bureaucracy, so our workspace naturally defies traditional norms. Unlike other companies, executives share the office with Nubankers of all levels. After all, here we work with transparency and everyone acts like an owner, not a renter.

Meeting rooms for every need

Throughout the building, you’ll find well-equipped meeting rooms available for hybrid meetings, seamlessly connecting onsite and remote team members. Rooms can be easily booked via Google Calendar, complete with information about capacity, location, and amenities such as digital whiteboards, Zoom, and Google Meet.

For individual moments of concentration or short private calls, phone booths are readily available without the need for reservations.

Additionally, Nubank HQ provides special-purpose spaces such as:

  • Breastfeeding rooms for mothers with young children.
  • Zen space, bookable for peaceful breaks and decompression.

The library on the 8th floor, stocked with a selection of books available for borrowing through a simple QR-code check-in/check-out system. It also showcases various awards Nubank has received over the years.

Rooftop views and recreational facilities

Our rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the São Paulo skyline. It’s designed for relaxation, team events, or simply enjoying the sunset from comfortable bean bag chairs. The rooftop also includes basketball and soccer courts, available for booking via Google Calendar.

Pet-friendly environment

Pets are welcomed at Nubank. Before bringing your furry friend to the office, ensure they’re registered, have updated vaccination records, and receive a personalized badge.

Owners are responsible for feeding, cleaning after, and managing the behavior of their pets. Dedicated areas such as balconies and the rooftop are designated for pet feeding, and hygiene kits are provided at Pet Stops around the office.

For the comfort of all Nubankers, pets should always wear collars or use cat carriers, and bringing pet accessories is permitted as long as they don’t obstruct common areas.
