Nubank was born in 2013 with the mission to fight the complexity of the financial market to help our customers regain control of their financial lives. This wouldn’t be possible without a team that takes on great responsibilities in the face of the challenges we encounter as we build our purpose. Camila, Senior Compliance Manager (Colombia)
Camila Santana began her career at a fintech startup, where she learned the value of innovation and resilience.
Passionate about the transformation that technology can bring, Camila works in Compliance, and despite being a highly regulated environment, she found at Nubank a place where her ideas and appetite for innovation are valued.
What drives Camila is our consumer-focused culture: “we listen to customers and develop products that truly meet their needs.”
Her purpose is clear: to empower people to make the best financial decisions with confidence. She seeks to develop solutions that promote financial inclusion, ensuring that everyone has access to the necessary tools to manage their finances effectively.

Priscila, Senior Design Manager (Mexico)
Priscila Soberanes lives in Mexico City and her family is growing. Mother to a little girl just over a year old, she divides her time between taking care of her family and dedicating herself to her profession.
Among her many passions are design and architecture, which is why she became a designer. She has always been driven by a strong desire to understand and solve complex problems. Her interest in technology began early, and throughout her career, she has developed skills that have made her a versatile and innovative professional. Before joining Nubank, Priscila gained a broad understanding of the financial market and customer needs.
At Nubank, she found the perfect environment to turn her ideas into reality. She is fascinated by the culture of innovation, creating fundamentally different and increasingly better products. Her purpose is as clear as it is ambitious: “I want to empower individuals to make the best financial decisions without complications and with total transparency.”
Nubank’s approach to experimentation, seeing trial and error as a way to learn, refine, and improve, allows Priscila to continue growing while contributing to Nubank’s mission.
Priscila reflects on her journey and the future: “I believe that the dreams we have today are the achievements of tomorrow.” She continues to dream big, motivated by our vision of transforming the financial market.
Raphael, Chief of Staff (Brazil)
The possibility of “doing the best work of your life” is what motivates Raphael to work at Nubank. His career began early; after technical school, he went to college at 17 and entered the job market immediately. By 24, he was a professor, then completed a master’s and doctorate, and was the first Brazilian to write a book on agile methodologies in Portuguese. Nubank’s way of working has always fascinated him. In 2020, he joined the team because a significant challenge caught his attention, and he wanted to experience it from the inside: how Nubank would scale while maintaining the agile culture of digital product development.
Among the company’s values, Raphael identifies with ‘We are hungry and challenge the status quo,’ and he always seeks ways to challenge the conventional to reach new levels of quality and development practices. Additionally, Raphael values the principle of “We think and act like owners, not renters.” For him, this value means taking responsibility and not shying away from obstacles and challenges but facing them. This aligns with Raphael’s personal belief in education as a tool for change.
Raphael’s journey at Nubank is impressive for its multidisciplinary nature and mobility in just a few years. He started in the Information Security team, stayed there for 12 months, then moved to Customer Service with the same goal: to spread the agile culture. Then, he participated in an internal selection process and became Chief of Staff. He later transferred to the HR team to apply the same systemic thinking, managed Culture, Leadership, and Performance, and after a rotation, returned as Chief of Staff in a Global Platforms structure, where he is currently.
