The Research team is expected to understand what the company needs to achieve and to focus on the right questions, hypotheses, and problems. Additionally, they need to analyze data with a customer-focused and company objectives approach, use communication skills to deliver research results clearly, and help colleagues in decision-making. After all, choices must reflect data logic and human needs.

What skills are necessary to be a researcher at Nubank?

Research Strategy: Develop research plans that align business goals with customer needs, ensuring the relevance, impact, and actionability of the research.

  • Qualitative and Quantitative Research: Conduct research including interviews, focus groups, usability tests, desk research, among other methods, to collect data about customers and the market.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze collected data to identify patterns, insights, and trends. This includes analyzing interview transcripts, quantitative questionnaire results, business data, product metrics, and secondary market data.
  • Synthesis and Communication of Insights: Transform collected data and insights into understandable and actionable information that can be shared across different Nubank teams.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with design, product, and business teams to integrate research insights into the development and refinement of products and services.
  • User Advocacy: Be the voice of the customer within the company, ensuring that people’s perspectives are considered.
